Now using an in-house graphical user interface (GUI) but before the widespread adoption of Microsoft Windows, ScotWeave Professional was launched in 1990. The system used the Texas Instruments Graphics Adaptor standard (TIGA) to drive either the Hercules Graphic Station or Number 9 GXi internal graphics cards. Later the software was adapted to use the industry standard VESA graphics system whichmeant it could run on most graphics adaptors.

The printer shown is the Canon FP510-D which was ahead of its time for print quality and cost in 1990.
