Nature of
Problem :
Printing
stops halfway through a page, or does not print at all from ScotWeave.
There may be a ScotWeave error message when this occurs or there
may be no error message.
Solution
:
First
check that the printer is working correctly by printing a test page,
or printing from a program other than ScotWeave. If the printer
is working okay then try the following procedure -
At the Windows desktop select My Computer
then the C-drive icon
Open the Windows folder
Find and double-click the icon called Hprcfg09.exe
This will start
the "HP2000C Configuration" program (if you cannot see
this program then try a Windows file search for the named file).
Click on
Continue to start the configuration
The 5th item Bi-directional Communication
should be OFF (no tick)
The 6th item Launch Toolbox when Printing
should be OFF (no tick)
Change these items, if necessary, then click on OK
You will have to restart Windows
before these changes register
