In response
to customer demand we've streamlined our already easy-to-use Jacquard
system to make going from artwork to loomdisk as easy as "1
2 3".
We've added
the 1 2 3 icon
to allow you to go quickly from one step to the next as follows
1.
Use Artwork Designer to create the artwork as normal then
click the 1 2 3 icon
2.
You are now taken straight the the base weave selection window
in Jacquard Designer, complete with a default yarn palette
and default warp/weft patterns. Select your weaves and carry out
any float checking or pattern editing then click the 1
2 3 icon.
3.
You are now taken straight into the Jacquard Looms program.
The default jacquard harness is applied to the current design
and the resulting loom disk content is displayed on the screen
in seconds for checking. Check and change the data as required
then click the
1
2 3 icon to create the loom disk.
These few steps
greatly simplify the process of creating a jacquard loom disk and
make the whole procedure quick and easy. For many users this will
represent a great saving in time and the number of procedural steps
required to create a loom disk.
Importantly,
however, we've not removed any of the functionality of ScotWeave.
You can still create designs exactly as before and still step in
and out out the various procedures as you wish - the 1
2 3 icon is an additional feature which adds to what
you already have in ScotWeave.
All in all it
adds up to powerful, versatile, easy-to-use jacquard design software
- which is exactly what you should expect from ScotWeave. It's as
easy as "1 2 3".
