You can obtain more information about the "Weave Information File" (WIF) format which is supported by ScotWeave and the three software suppliers above at the following link. ScotWeave uses a software key (dongle) for copy protection and to prevent unauthorised use of the ScotWeave software. The dongle is a blue plastic device attached to either the serial (DK25) or parallel (DK2) port of the ScotWeave.
