A printer "scaling"
factor is provided in ScotWeave which will apply a scale factor
to reduce the effective resolution of the printer resulting is smaller
print files and faster printing. You can test this feature to see
if it will work for you as follows -
In Dobby
or Jacquard Designer open a design then select the File -
Print option as normal. OK the standard Windows print
dialog then look at the print parameters dialog shown below -

In
the lower left corner of this dialog is the Print Scaling
control,shown in detail below

Increase
the Scale factor value above to activate printer scaling.
As you increase this value you will see the Effective dpi
value decrease to show the effect of printer scaling. Experiment
with different values here to get the best trade off between print
speed and quality.
Once
you have determined the best scale factor to use you can apply this
permanently by using the procedure below. Once this has been done
the scale factor will be applied automatically.
Start the
ScotWeave Setup program
Select Configure - ScotWeave Printers
- Advanced
Set the Use printer scaling
check box ON
Enter the required value for the Printer
Scaling Factor
