| Reinstalling ScotWeave |

There are several reasons why you might want to reinstall ScotWeave at some time - 1. You have
purchased a new pc and want to transfer ScotWeave to this PC If you have a ScotWeave software maintenance contract then contact us and we will immediately dispatch a full installation CD with easy-to-follow instructions. If you do not have a software maintenance contract or wish to carry out the installation yourself then note that reinstallation of ScotWeave is very simple but you will need a ScotWeave Installation CD which is not the same as a ScotWeave Update CD. The Installation
CD will contain some additional files which makes the process fully
automatic. The recommended procedure is as follows - 1. Locate and
install the original ScotWeave Installation
CD This simple procedure will quickly get your computer up and running. If you need to copy data files from an old PC to a new PC then this can be done via a local area network connection or by means of a rewritable CD. To copy all of your data files continue as follows - 3. Copy the \ScotWeave folder and all sub-folders except \ScotWeave\System If you do not have a ScotWeave Installation CD but still have access to the original PC on which ScotWeave is installed then you can transfer ScotWeave as follows - 1. Copy the
\ScotWeave folder and all sub-folders to the new computer |
