| If
you suspect that you have found a bug in the ScotWeave software
then the following will help show you how to report the bug so that
it can be fixed as quickly as possible.
In order to
fix a bug it is usually necessary for the programmer to reproduce
the circumstances which caused the bug to show up. By doing
this the programmer will be able to investigate the cause of the
bug, fix it, and then test it to ensure that the bug has been removed.
For this reason
the more information that can be gathered about what circumstances
show up the bug the easier it will be for the programmer to locate
and fix the bug. The following information will help with this.
Do any error
messages appearif
so, exactly what do they say ?
What
were you doing with computer before the bug appeared
?
Does the
bug to repeat itself by repeating
a sequence of operations ?
What Windows
version ( Windows 95 or NT4 etc.) are you using ?
Any other
information that you feel may help.
Now please contact
ScotWeave
and report the problem along with any other information that you
feel may help.
