Example of the float find/break dialog for ScotWeave Jacquard Designer. You can apply simple float finding or more complex float finding (as shown above) in which ScotWeave will only check for floats between chosen artwork colours (weave structures). This allows you to have different float lengths in different areas of the fabric according to the weave structures used.

Floats can be broken automatically (in different locations, not always at the centre) or they can be marked in the weave structure so that they can be located and broken manuall.
